Welcome!

Shy (short for Shyenne) is a photographer who bases herself on the Gold Coast of Australia but her story did not start there. Growing up she moved  between Sydney, Perth and ended up on the Gold Coast. Amongst these places, she also had the opportunity to travel overseas for numerous holidays (mainly tropical due to her fathers passion for being near the ocean). This is where she found herself exploring the photography world. 

Whether it be posing her sister as a model on a palm tree or capturing the scenic views on her holidays, Shyenne always knew photography played a big part in her heart. Fast forward a few years, the corporate world wasn't cutting it anymore for her and so she decided to immerse herself completely in the photography world. Coming into the industry with no background knowledge or people around her to guide her, Shy was left to teach herself everything she wanted to make of her work. This is where 'Moments by Shy' started with photographing the highlights of her travels and mainly working with swimwear models as this style was aligning the most with her.

Shy was adamant that she wouldn't shoot weddings but when she found herself one day assisting her fellow photographer friend with a wedding, along came 'Weddings by Shy'. Shy instantly fell in love with capturing the love surrounding and between couples just as much as she loved working with models.

Now, she aims to combine the two passions and deliver a professional, sophisticated and modern based look through her work, all while keeping the vibes high.

Shy hopes to continue to grow with her couples and clients and can't wait to start photographing all over Australia and world wide.
